Dear Design Contest,
I participated in a contest over two weeks ago, and its been over two weeks now since the contest has closed. Monjoe2 was the Contest holder, and the contest was a logo design for Catalyst Construction. Anyways, they have yet to still pick a winner for their contest. The contest is still closed, and I was just curious as to what happened, and if they are going to pick a winner. Thanks for any help on the matter.

contest expired 2 weeks ago, waiting for contestholder to either pick a winner or extend the contest. I have sent an email reminder. at the end of 4 weeks one last reminder will be sent out if no answer the contest will be considered abandoned. If the contest goes to abandoned then the prize money is split with the highest rated designers , each designer will get 45 dollars, prize amount determines how many designers the prize is split with

Also, is there a target rating a logo must get to before the contest closes to be deamed a winner, or is it which ever design is leading at the time of closure - is the Winner. Reason being the contest above only scored 42/100 but it was clearly ahead to the design in second place.

just wondering is it the CH must be deposit in advanced to DC before held the contest?
or is it ok the CH just pay to whom the contest winner after the winner upload the winning materials?
All contests are prepaid. You don't need to worry about CH not paying.

Some contest holders do not rate or comment through out the contest, maybe you should have a procedure of sending an email to them when a perios of time elapses with no interaction from the ch is there, the ch who interacts more gets more and better designs and we can follow our work either make it better or come up with new designs!

We do have emails that are sent out. An email is sent out when the contest first goes expired and then a notice every week. When the contest reaches a 4th week I start emailing them and calling. SO we do send messages.
