I am a new member and would like to join a design team member. I am a designer basically vector ... and thanks for chance ...
Go to your user cp, under the blue box (portfolio) you should see a red link " user cp"
Once you are on your user cp page look to your left "your comtrol panel" Scroll down, the second category is networking there you will see a red link pictures and albums click that, there you should be able to what you want

Hey everyone: i am new as well and here's my 1st of 10 forum posts..
I am new to DesignContest. Hope to be here a while... Thanks for all of the info!
I really like this site idea..
umm, I'm not sure exactly how this relates to the thread topic of: "Guidelines for becoming a design team member".
Unless, maybe you are suggesting that a new guideline be added in the form of "Perfectionism". With Perfectionism in mind though, that would also include that the perfectionist them self posted on-topic comments that contributed to the thread topic as a whole. I think that simple factoid alone would disqualify many people from having a chance at becoming elite.
While I think that perfectionism may be a good quality to have on a personal level, I don't think that it would be a logical guideline to be added. That's just my opinion though.![]()
I am Harsh and hope I can meet a lot of great designer here
i have mastercard and visa do i to get the payment directly in my credit card
So i am super duper confused. Do i need to post 10 meaningful comments or be judged by a group of designers? Or do i submit a portfolio? I just want to start designing, my brain is on fire with ideas!
Finally a link that took me to the Application page. Only took me 2 days to find a few more specifics! Good thing...I do not do web design - only print. I have done some work on elements (such as logos) that will be used for a website, that's it. Will this disqualify me from participating in DC?
if you look up top of any page you will see colored boxes, under those colored boxes you will see user cp, Knowledgebase and so on.........Knowledgebase has all the info a member needs DesignContest.net Knowledgebase
If you look at the bottom of any contest page you will see additional section in grey that have links for all as well
DesignContest.net Logo Design Contests and look at the bottom of the page

Is it a problem if I use Photoshop CS5 or it must be Illustrator. And if that is possible in what format should the file be?Help please!
u can use any program that's VECTOR based ..like illustrator /coreldraw...ETC
but photoshop is raster based ..means that when u resize images they will get pixelated
so, in logo contest & for different uses u should use a vector software.
as for files formats..u should save ur work in the original program format..like in illustrator (.ai)
and an (.eps) one..these are the ones u need to send in case u won a contest or so.
BUT.. to show entries in contest u need to save them as image (.png /.jpeg..) so they appear in best way.
hope that helps
good luck

Hi, please read this thread before entering any logo contests:
http://www.designcontest.com/forum/i...tml#post136556
All the important things can be found there and throughout the site.
You don't have enough forum posts to enter a contest (you need 10 meaningful posts), but please don't pad your post count just to reach the 10 post mark.
What is post padding? Please read the link that Coy started in the link I provided. Good luck!![]()

Post padding is not the way to participate here. I suggest you take the time and read through our knowlegebase, read through the rules and stop post padding, that is the best way to go, if you continue the way you are going it will take you forever to get your 10 post minimum
