In conjunction with the movie release of LEGEND OF THE GUARDIANS: OWLS OF GA’HOOLE on Sept 23, Warner Bros Pictures is giving away exclusive movie merchandise and cash prizes to the designer(s) who has the ability to create a new character based on the movie about a band of owls that banded together to seek truth and protect the owl world from unimaginable danger.

Participation
This competition is open to Malaysians or foreigners above 18 years of age residing in Malaysia under a student or working visa.
The organizers, employees and relatives of Twentieth Century Fox Malaysia or Warner Bros Pictures and its agencies are not eligible to enter this competition.

before 12:00noon on 30 Sept 2010
Late submissions will not be entertained.

Artwork
- Each submission must fill one A4 (210 x 297 mm) page, with 1 cm border each at height and width.
- The submitted artwork should be an original rendition of an owl in the Legend of the Guardians world. Contestants are encouraged to name the new character and provide a brief description on the new owl’s personality OR story if possible.
- Judging criteria will be based on the ability of the designer to create a unique owl character with distinct personality traits visually.
- The artwork must be digitally illustrated in 3D. Artwork must be at least 300dpi and submitted as a jpeg file
- Artwork can be either in PORTRAIT or LANDSCAPE orientation.
There is no limit of how many artworks that can be submitted but only 1 will be selected.

General Rules & Regulations
- The Organizer has the right to use the submitted works for exhibition and promotion purposes.
- Each applicant agrees, warrants and represents that the character(s) and image(s) being submitted in this competition are the original work of only the applicant.
- Participants are not allowed to submit entries that have been used for other purposes (competition, work, advertising, etc). Participants should note that, in the above scenario the organizers are not liable for any copy right issues that may occur under those circumstances.
- Judges decisions are final and no appeals will be entertained.
