Prize funds won reaches over $10,000!!

DC is growing steadily everyday and has made alot of progress over the past several months thanks in a large way to the numerous members of the community that help to make each of the contests a success. We would like to thank each and every one of you for DC's amazing growth, and we only see even better things for the community in the future.

In the past 8 months, DC has hosted over 75 guaranteed contests, with over $10,000 already won by DC members in the guaranteed contests since April of 2004.

Wow! Congratulations everyone - we have come a long way from the days of having our entries stolen and the contest holders disappearing! By the looks of all the contests currently being hosted, I can only guess this number will double very quickly.

Congratulations! I have noticed that we are getting more and more active members, and newer members coming in, as well as contest holders as well.
With the help of all these rules that we follow closely, it is no wonder that DesignContest.net is THE greatest forum I have ever been to (for graphic designing, for an online community, I would say Gaia).

Wow, That is awesome. Thumbs up DC. I find that this is an awesome site. I cannnot wait until I am able to compete in more of the contests in these forums.

This is a great website. 10,000 seems low for a whole year, but keep in mind that contests were won in increments of a few hundred that built up to 10 grand.

good observation, Antwawn, but please also note that from February (Jan. actually), the amount has now reached over $20,000 - so that was another $10000 in much less than a year. There's always going to be periods that are less active than others as far as contests go - but this is a great place for people looking not only to build their portfolios, but also to earn additional money in the process
