Really like your design it has a very soft, elegant feel to it i love the gradual slow down of the stars when the mouse leaves the banner. and the top corner moves like it is breathing or even like the wind is blowing. Really good work keep it up.

Looks good Maxson, but maybe incorperate the dark gray that is also used in this forum to fit the forum a bit more.

Xor, maybe you should ad more interactive rollover effects like over the join button and maybe over the DC Logo. Mabe make a background glow when you move over the logo.

By hand, i guess. It's a couple of copied movieclips, with a little bit of actionscript.

So you could probably put something in the onLoad event like:

this.alpha = Math.random();

Not sure if that would actually work as-is, but you get the idea.
