2005.04.08 - Lenin Must Be Buried - Postcard Design

I believe that this icon of Communism (nor anybody else) does not deserve to occupy such a place. Lenin's embalmed corpse should be removed from Red Square and his mausoleum replaced with a memorial to victims of Soviet repression. Well, just to clean the Red Square of the dead body should be enough.
So, here is a challenge to put your thoughts on this issue together and make a postcard to be sent to Lenin himself.
This contest will be open for 1 month.
The best postcard will be printed out (if the resolution permits and the artist doesn't mind) and will be sent to:
Vladimir Lenin
Mausoleum, Red Square
Moscow, 000001
Russia
if you make a quick search in google you will find tons of Lenin's images

1- Lenin is mummified and can be seen in mausoleum in the Red Square.
2- Sergey hates Lenin.
3- Lenin's frist name is Vladimir.
I think I'll pass on this one! It seems kinda too political for my taste. And it's a subject I don't know enough about to form a strong opinion.
P.S. Sergey, have you tried www.petitiononline.com?

P.S. and, no. I do not hate Lenin. I hate what he did, but I don't care about him as a person.
P.P.S. Even though this contest comes out as a failure, the only fact that you guys will learn some interesting new information makes me think I have not posted in vain
Well I learned few things on this thread

I know Russian history quite well (I find it to be quite interesting!).
I think this topic is a bit too political for a contest, but it is an interesting topic, and I think it would be great if you could post some more information for everybody about Lenin and possible some pre-Lenin history (maybe post this in The Hangout).
