What is version of flash you use?
maybe try this version that resurepus was created

well, it is a Flash contest, so I am afraid you have to learn it to participate in it

Well, this is MUCH better!
Is the illustration done in vectors? If so it would make the whole banner much more alive if you can animate it just a little bit, make kind of float? but it is just an idea.

Also I wanted to mention that the tag line "website design, illustration, logo design, etc" is not obligatory. And they look very much like links. So if you really want to keep those words, feel free to make them links to actual contest forums.

Other than that it is a very good work, that has all the chances to win this session of the contest!

Yah i was sleeping so i figure i would eventually chasnge it again, ill make em links, b.c to me it looks good that way. and i ment to animate her hair, and make her eyes like glare, but i was really sleepy haha. ill probly update it todays and let u know.

It looks good, its very soft coloring, which is nice, but the grasshopper, and the butterfly are a lil pixelized :/

Oh, I like that one. I think the wink and the gleam in the eye is a really nice touch, but I'm not too sure about the other thing, is it hair or her eyebrow thats moving?

Good touch SteveOrM3L. I really like the vector job, very well done. I, personally, am not sure about the wink however. It's... to much bang effect. Meaning, I think it could be more subtle, like the glare and the hair (I personally like those). Possibly, make the wink quick and subtle. Other than that, well done.

sorry, I thought she might have been cocking her eyebrow, because (before it goes up) the end of the hair is level with the left eyebrow. And I didnt notice the other piece of hair moving in the back. d'oh
