Exclamation Logo canvas, for admins or some1 who can do something

Pls i'm going to do a request.

I'm using CS4 and My problem is that the Logo Canvas for illustrator(the .ai) are only 2 files, first i can't open ( i think it's made for cs5 ) and the second one it's screwing my logos. I'ved checked, and i'm using RGB (it's not so hard to change from RGB to CMY and the other way around)

But in more properties, i'ved seen that this is for Illustrator CS2....and this is bullshit. All my effects are doomed....and THIS IS NOT BECAUSE OF THE RGB/CMY. SImple The CS2 template can't handle the effects made by CS4.

PLS someone make an official CS4 Logo Canvas....it's about my work and not being able to show what i'ved done because of this....ANd if in meanwhile i can upload my logos exporting them to .jpeg from my basic worksheet (normal, flat and black and white colours) ?

I could put some pictures to prove but are for an open contest. If nobody believs me...use a CS4 sheet..make a shape -> an effect..lets say SPonge effect, and then copy to CS2 template

I really don't know what your problem is. I use cs3 and cs4 and have never had a problem.

As far as effects...effects and filters will rasterize your logo design and that is not allowed

if the canvas you opened in cs4 is exactly like the other then there is no problem

I'ved read some rules on this site, and maybe i wasn't attendive, but i think i didn't seen a rule like that. If you take all the effects ( let's not forget in EFFECT, in illustrator we have 3D, distort and transform, stylize etc...), it's like drawing with both your hands tied back.

Hope this is not true....and i can still use effects

The rules are...All logos are to be vector!most of the effcts will rasterize the work. Even Adobe says that the effects (most of them will rasterize) Just about anyone familar with illustrator knows that this happens, You can read that in your illustrator help files or even do a google search about illustrator effects makes the design a raster instaed of a vector.

Please read through our rules and knowledgebase and maybe start with this page

ok, my bad...but in my defence......i'll google to see what effects will raster the design.
