How to upload an improved design requested by the CH?

I recieved an email stating:

The client posted new feedback about your Entry #84 in the "Logo for Independent film company with zero budget but great potential" project.
The client wants you to improve your design.
You've got 1 additional upload credit to submit an improved version of this design or show a different idea.

I have made all corrections that he requested, but I am unsure of how to upload my revised design. Will someone please walk me through this process? The contest is now closed, and I don't want the CH to pick a winner before I upload the revised design.

Hi there

The contest is in expired mode, waiting for the ch to either choose a winner or extend the contest. We can't do anything until the ch decides what to do. A message has been sent to the contestholder

Oh alright, but in general, I have gotten emails like this before and have been unsure of what to do. In a case that the contest is not in expired mode, how would a designer go about submitting a revised design request by the CH?

If the contest still open then upload the image just as you do with a new entry, click upload an entry

but what about if it is closed? For instance if I received an email saying the CH wanted me to change my design slightly and that I had 1 additional upload credit to do so. How would you upload if the contest is closed?
