Had a few questions about this matter as I'm fairly new to silkscreen.
1: Usually 4 color separations are done with cmyk channels, & the 5th being a special plate for spot colors and what not, right?
2: Say I'm creating a full color image for a tshirt print from scratch, is it better to layer out individual colors (or set them in individual channels) for easier setup?
3: Can a flattened image be reversed engineered by selecting colors manually and creating channels?
3: What about gradients? How are these usually handled? Same channel, different channel?
Maybe not the easiest questions to answer, I know but if anyone could help me I'd appreciate it TONS!!![]()
