    Question Alpha or Beta?

    I know what these greek symbols mean in calculus class but y r they used with logos? what does it mean?

    The alpha and beta isn't connected to the logo, actually. It's connected to the website.

    Essentially, when a company launches a website or creates a software program that no one has used, they need actual people to play around with it and report any errors or other problems. There are two stages of this kind of testing: The first is called "alpha testing" and the second is "beta testing". With Web 2.0 sites, these words have become a bit of a cliche and have lost all meaning. But that's where they come from

    It really didn't struck me that that was the question, my head wasn't really with me... I was thinking of the symbols that is used quite often "in" logos
