Toshiba ad

I "stole" this ad from Gizmodo. So my question is: Does this mean "Innovation" to you? It's colorful, trendy, and random, but I'm not sure it really communicates the message that an electronics company is on the edge of innovation.
PS: there might be a flash part of the ad that wasn't showing up.
Thoughts?

It looks like random "brushes" to me, just random colorful things, and not so trendy for being honest. And why the white line, i hope it has some kind of flash animation

I am sure we are missing the flash part here. I don't believe that Toshiba would use just random decorative elements to advertise themselves.

I cannot comment on it if it might be dynamic, but the static screenshot seems very amateur. As Geko says, it appears to be a brush collection.

not very innovative and to be honest it looks a bit like 90s clip art.

The composition of this image is ... well ... lol ... wait a min ! ... If something like this crossed my desk it would be rejected. Not sure what they are trying to pull off here .. but it doesn't really say "Innovation" to me. 1 step forward 5 steps back for them I think! Maybe they are going for the under 8 demographic .. the babies, not the baby boomers !

Yeah, the design doesn't seem to be done as good as it could be. It doesn't look like an ad for electronics company. This is what happens when people pay much and receive "nothing"

I agree with most everyone else here. If it didn't say Toshiba I would have no idea it had anything to do with electronics, nevertheless innovation. The colors are eye catching, but that's the most you can say for it and I think the flames are very cheesy.
As to the white line, I believe that's just the loading bar, not actually part of the design.
