    any intuos is better than the bamboo but they are much more pricey then the bamboo's

    The intuos will last a lot longer. but if its your first tablet it might be too much.. bamboo is under $100 and will get you accustomed.

    So.. its more or less your price range and how long you want it to last.

    My answer would be intuos3.

    I have wacoom A5 , its small but it helps me alot !

    Yeah, I find the tablets harder to use, since I've been using a mouse for so long. I suppose I just don't feel like "relearning."
