I would agree with most of the points in the article, and still - some of them do have exceptions.

A flash introduction can have its purposes on some particular sites, so it is not always bad, even from a SEO point of view (as you know SEs, at least Google, can index flash contets).

I would also agree with the above opinion: "horizontal scrolling rocks" - when used in the right way. For example, it can be used as lifelike way to present a gallery of images - it can be cool

Anyways, every rule has its exceptions, right?

As if you don't know what Microsoft website is about lol. No music is for general sites, only websites of an musicians should have music, also free stream whole album cause then people can hear it all for free and judge if they like it or not and buy it.

They should ad exception cause many of them got exceptions, mainly depending of if its designed intended. Also as if their website looks that good.

I'd say never put a big ad banner on top that means you are money hungry and make people see the ad first instead of the important message below. Cause would had clicked away cause I did not see the titel and begin of the text just a big ad banner.

and the problem that comes with slow page load is that either they have high traffic or a crappy internet connection, it has nothing to do with web design. It was very obvious they where going out of their way to bash Microsoft.

As for most of the others, well there are very few I agree with. It seems like this person really doesn't know a whole lot about web design.
