Universal pictogram for shops?

Hey I am on the search and busy designing few icons but I came across a blockage. I want to make a pictogram / flat icon that should represent shops however it seem to a super hard to things of one because of so many different things they actually sell what would be best universal pictorgram for a shop and also for product.

So like on a website you would have a product page and a shop page and you would like to use a icon on a button or a pictogram, but what image should it be? So what could represent a shop and what can represent products.

Shop can not be a building because would counteract with the home Icon. Also shopping cart would counteract with shopping cart.

There are not many things I can think of so far...
How about an image of a cash register to represent the shop?
And an image of an open box or a few boxes to represent the products?

These don't sound like great ideas to me too, but I'll write when I think of something cleverer later
