I have read numerous posts on this topic. I currently have my Color Management profiles matched in Ai and Corel.

One issue/question (with multiple mini questions) remains:

In Corel when I use spot colors to create a file and then convert to RGB, the color seems to try match the PMS ink color on my Pantone Color Bridge, not the CMYK color (which are often different visually to the PMS ink). However, AI seems to use the CMYK value when rendering PMS colors on the monitor.

If I convert the PMS in Ai or Corel to CMYK and then to RGB, the values are a match within a couple points.

If the client is using PMS colors when printing would i not be better to render the web version to match the Color Bridge? What is your practice when this discrepancy occurs?

Have you found this issue? What is your standard practice? Does application on Web vs Print affect your decision?
