    OK listen to this..

Well I'm doing labels for a food company.
They choose this one that one and so on. Then they decide to use one of the labels for 2 products that was suppose to have different looks.

Since I'm getting paid per label, should I state that they chose the other and changed their mind, therefor I should get paid for each one even if they don't use that layout. Instead of getting paid for 5 labels I feel I should be paid for 6.

I wanted to get your opinion on this before I say anything..

    Thanks

well i guess its all about the agreement or contract that was done b4 you stated to work. if there is none about this issue, then im afraid legaly you dont have much to do, and the client can do what ever he want.

i ususaly set an agreement with the client when i know exactly how many sketchs im making, how many he is choosing and for how many im geting paid and so on...
offcourse its not writen in stone... agreements can be changed during work if both sides want it.

If they are choosing one label/look for two different products, you still have to set the type and customize each label for each product—sounds like two labels to me. I would charge them for the six labels and explain your reasoning. Good luck!
