There are some very good entries in this one... I learn from just seeing what others do. I have been working with Adobe Illustrator since 1988 and still learn new things all the time! Thanks.

    thanks but always learning

I used Freehand before Illustrator - it was better at first.

I know a lot of things about Illustrator but I doubt anyone knows everything you can do with it.

Because I do most of my design work for promotional products I have always concentrated on spot colors with few gradients. Just in the past few years can you print more promotional items with four color process and digital print techniques. That opened up a huge potential for new design opportunities.

So I am still learning and have already learned some great new tips from people in this forum.

    feedback

Nice clean design - good use of symbolism and colors - may be a bit too subtle for this type client but you never know. I like that you explained what you did - many designers dont do that and probably miss out on better client understanding and relations because of that.

Your right its nice if the designer explains his ideas, that makes him a good salesman. But I think a Logo should be self-explanatory because you want be able to explain the Logo to every costumer

I agree with both of you. A logo should be self-explanatory but explaining your idea could come in handy when people dont see it, and it would be quite ackward if the contest holder itself didnt know what his own logo means
