    The best logo design

We are all know that a best logo design is one that which entices the intended audience. Well an image looks great if presented with an image but there are logos with only the font and they look simply amazing exactly portraying the business image in a right way. So its all about how the things are presented ultimately and how things are received.

a majority of the time - simple is best. knowing typography, your client and your audience can lead to some the simplest designs and that can be straight font usage.

I have found that a majority of customers want clean sans serif font but just they don' t want it plain they want it to be different. That's sometimes where the difficulty lies, and the creative juices need to flow. I work alot on large format design, building wraps and stadium treatments. Logo design gives you a bit more of an artistic license since the customer wants to create a brand, an uniqueness from others. However the rule of a clean easy to read font still holds a key successful design. I was always taught to keep it simple, when I think about it I always think back to logos like NIKE, IBM, Fedex and other successful brand logos. Look around you, look at all the logo examples, I see an Apple right in front of me the Compaq logo to my right the FedEx logo to my left, Minute maid on my desk and I can go on and on. The lesson here is the logos we see everyday from successful companies, designed by designers just like us, tend to be simple but Lasting. I am sure that the Next Paul Rand may be you or me keep it simple and stay true to your self and style.

I like simple, clean logos, but they have to be engaging and memorable, too. I love looking at logos for inspiration. One of my favorite logo sites is Logo of the Day

    shefshef019,
Thanks this seems like a cool site, however I was unable to see the how one was to submit for logo of the day. I saw where you could suggest a logo but is there any theme for each day, that you have to try and design to? I am always open to seeing other designers work, it helps me keep up to date with the current happenings in logo design. There is fierce competition in the design world every edge helps. Have a Great day and stay creative!

I prefer simple logo's. A logo that can look just as good in black and white as in full colour. I'm not big into the 3D type logo's but some can be nice.

I also like simple and clean, usually with a splash of color in the right spot to catch the eye. I often have to hold back the temptation to throw the kitchen sink at a project and remember to tell myself "Just because you can doesn't mean you should." lol

    Ron...

I think we're all in the same ball park with this idea. Less is truely best.
That's the motto I've been going with.

The best logos are simple. Probably the best advice a designer can get.

I'm not the greatest designer in the world, but I know good design when
I see one. Like yourself, I too prefer clean with a splash.

"Just because you can doesn't mean you should."
    -Well said.
