    iPad vs Cintiq

I resently saw allot of pictures of people actually controlling their macs with the iPad as a second screen or as a cintiq screen with touch or you can also buy a pen to use on that screen.

The cheapest iPad is cost about half the price of a Cintiq. What do you think would you buy either of these devices or anyone tried the iPad as second screen yet with any adobe programs running?

I've never worked with Cintiq screens, but I think they work much the same way as Intuos tablets in the stylus part and pressure sensitivity functionality and pressure sensitivity makes a huge difference.
If only Apple could add pressure sensitivity to iPad and even just iPhone, the device would instantly become digital artist's dream come true!

I don't know about instantly. Ipad for me have a few issues.

    No Printing

    No USB

IF I could use a stylus, it would also be nice to be able to listen to music atthe same time.

I wish they had thought about makeing more computer like and less liek a hugs phone.

yeah, but without wacom's pressure sensitivity there is no use in using a stylus on ipad...
