    That does sound odd.
You say you have a problem with photoshop. Does that mean that your monitor colors look okay when you are not in photoshop? That the problem only occurs when you are using photoshop?

When I get to my office (in about 8 hours), I'll ask my co-worker (a tech guy) if he has heard of this problem. In the meantime, good luck.

Maybe it's a color profile you are using in photoshop? What brand of monitor do you have?

Well that got my tech guy puzzled as well. Even shutting down your computer and monitor and then restarting has no effect as well I'm sure.

There must be a weird color profile setting as mentioned before. If things look fine when you are not in photoshop then I don't see how re-calibrating your monitor will help either. Something fishy within your photoshop profiles more than likely.

Also, make sure you don't have anything magnetic near your monitor, that may cause some weird stuff to happen too.

check your preferences in Photoshop.. sometimes if your not running under the right color profiles or even some true color settings it could come out funny. Cant think of any other reason something like that would be happening.
