I was on craigslist the other day, and there was a logo design contest, offering 200 dollars to the winning logo for a future business. I designed a logo, however how can protect myself from being taken advantage of considering i can only come in contact with this business through email?

I was on craigslist the other day, and there was a logo design contest, offering 200 dollars to the winning logo for a future business. I designed a logo, however how can protect myself from being taken advantage of considering i can only come in contact with this business through email?

I am generally weary of them, only because of some the shadier things that go on on the site. Personally, I would incorporate a watermark on your design to protect. If the CH likes your work and 'buys' it, then you can take it off. There are too many people out there ripping us (designers) off.
