I'm trying to work (on the design term) about 9 hours a day, 7 days a week.
It's because I have very much to learn, and I have to produce a LOT of design, since I'm a newbie.
Good Luck to all of us...![]()

I work too many hrs LOL. I think freelancing can easily turn someone into a workaholic! I know for myself I am alsway near the computer or somewhere where I can check for orders from clients or feedback for revisions and such. I do quite a bit of work for a couple of companies. I prepare files for print and/or for website. That means one of two things tons of vectorizing or tons of background removal and/or background replacement. A couple weeks ago I finished up some wine bottle holders, I had to remove an ugly background along with a wine bottle then add a candle and a flame with a nice background. I also prepare files for book covers, then I do my volunteer work her at designcontest. So I guess I really am a workaholic

trying to stay under... every hour of the day
Two of my clients require daily updates to the websites that usually take 3 to 4 hours a day. I tend to not start until 6 pm and work until midnight or 2 am.
I take short breaks from work throughout the evening cruising the net for bargains. I'm afraid I am addicted to online shopping. There are lots of daily deal sites I check in on throughout the evening.
Weekend computer work is for personal projects like a smartphone app I've been trying to finish for over a year(probably a waiste of time but I enjoy it).
Obviously I'm single with no kids or wouldn't keep such strange hours. Talking to other design freelancers and book authors, I've found out that many share my schedule as well.
I'm a freelancer as well and the working hour count really varies. Sometimes those are just a couple hours, but sometimes it takes even 12-14 hours to make myself happy with the work and go to sleep.
Only when I sleep I do not work)
Actualy 8 hour's a day
8 hours every working day, except weekends and nights
Depends on the day and month ! Year average: Between 8 to 10
10-14hrs
about 12-14 hours minimum a day.
I used to work from home around the clock. Now I have a 9 to 5 Graphic Director position, so as soon as I get home I try to spend some time with my wife and son. Once My son falls asleep I put in about 2-4 hrs working on side jobs or just researching about my craft. I used to work on weekends too but My wife wasnt too happy about that...lol
