    RGB vs CMYK vs Pantone

Of these three color standards which is the correct standard to use when submitting contests? I personally think that Pantone is the best option for the reason of printed material, but if a contest is not for printed material should we submit the color as RGB or CMYK?

From my point of view the best way to submit designs that are for printing purposes (offset and digital) is in CMYK because the majority of printing houses and individuals use CMYK ink (it costs less) and the CH won't need to do any conversions from RGB. If the CH is using the logo only in the digital realm than RGB is fine. As for Pantone some colors can't be reproduced in CMYK and that could cause problems.

This is a somewhat complicated subject and there is more to it than this ... in my opinion go for CMYK.
