Abandon contests what happens?

What happens to the contest that clients abandon?

We wait. We have had contest holders comeback 2-3 months after a contest has ended, then choose a design.

What I am doing now is After 1 month on deadline I send a reminder email to the contest holder. If no response The contest will go into poll vote mode, that is where you the designers vote on a design to win the prize.....this is ONLY for guaranteed contests. Non guaranteed contest will just get closed, there is nothing we can do if the ch abandons a non guaranteed contest.

We just finished up two abandoned contest, I will be putting another contest into poll mode today

I just want to say, this is a very good idea.
and One month is enough time for CH to decision.
hopefully Could you find a way for non-guaranteed Contest ... :-)

non-guaranteed Contest are closed when they are abandon. They aren't prepaid so there isn't anything we can do if the contest holder leaves the contest and if you do win a non-guaranteed Contest then it is up to you the designer to work with the contest holder to get paid and send files
