I miss "old" DesignContest

Hi to all of you!
I just needed to express my feelings about missing old Design Contest
It's not pathetic... I'm not crying Simply, I loved the concept - of being in real strong, solid and quality community, with highlight of community. I'm kind of a feeling it has change a bit... not sure where exactly is that point, that small difference.
Anyway, my strongly appreciation for creators of this community... and try to keep it that way.

P.S. DON'T TRY THIS ANYWHERE: I vacuumed Christmas Tree - don't ask why, got inspiration - it sucked the decoration ball, now can't get it out of pipe - any suggestions???

LOL I know it isn't funny but you you may need to end up doing a lot of blowing! could try garden hose hooked to your faucet or a broom handle to push it.

As far as the changes, It is sometimes hard for some to get used to changes. Stick around a bit it will feel like home again to you.

for the new DC , i'm still getting used to the new changes myself.. everything works very good for me till now..but i think there's still some work to do.. so the new designcontest give it's members & contest holders the best experience.

Sharie))) Problem solved)) thank you for advice... didn't work with the broom (pipe has curves on the ends), but with rubber hose I moved the ball to the point where I could smashed it with a screwdriver))))

Sharie & Selma - you are right, it takes some time to get used to changes, I am pretty slow with that, but I'll get to it.
CD has to stay strong community.

By the way, what happen with the private messaging? Don't tell me I have to open account on a Facebook... I said I never will))

Besides a few minor Issues I feel right at home. I have been gone for a while but have jumped back in and really enjoy seeing the work created. The community has grown but still feel that the love for design and knowledge still thrives. One item I miss is the PM we were able to do in the old DC. Sometimes you need to discuss things in private and not air it out in the community. However things like how not to Vacuum a Christmas tree must stay public so we can all get a good laugh once in a while. BABBA don't worry, when I was younger (Many moons ago) I took my mom's electolux vacuum and thought it was the best way to clean up a flood. That was the last time that vacuum ever worked.
