Which laptop to buy for designing?

Hi designers,

Basically my question is IS IT BETTER TO BUY LAPTOP FOR DESIGNING WITH POWERFUL PROCESSOR AND INTEL HD GRAPHIC CARD(and lots of ram of course) or LAPTOP WITH SLOWER PROCESSOR AND ATI, NVIDIA CARD?

Now the longer story for those who like to read As usual student laptop buyer I don't have enough money for really powerful laptop, but still want powerful enough for my design works. Basically I want it for 2d graphic works, but I will need to do some 3d works too like interior and furniture design (no 3d animation). So, the thing is that I see two options limited by my amount of money: laptop with powerful processor or mid power proc. with dedicated gpu.

Thing is that I know that for design 1. RAM 2.CPU and how much is important gpu? Main concer is can new GMA HD with i3 processor handle my 3d works? I didn't find any information how integrated cards work with 3dmax, Maya or Autocad. I heard that usually these kind of 3d software require more cpu than gpu for calculations. In the other hand I know that cs5 is using gpu, but how much? Wouldn't be enough GMA HD for it?

I hope someone experienced would tell me what should I do. I red forums, software requirements you don't need retell that kind of information. The best would be that somebody who has i3 i5 i7 proc and intel GMA HD to tell me how this combination works on 3d designing.
