    Hi,

I just want to learn designing in 3d. Particularly Blender3d. Does someone have experience with that ? And are there some usefull websites to read about it?

The interface seems to be very similar to Maya, but I am not sure you can really use Maya's tutorials to learn Blender. Anyway, besides the official site I would recommend taking look at the Blender's page on wikipedia

Thank you for that, there are a lot of external links. So I first start with some simple tutorials, to explore the software.

Oke, i think it takes a lot of time to learn it and to make something realistic.

there's a whole great Blender community on http://blenderartists.org/forum/complete with their own contests. Of course, you can visit http://www.blender.org/ for blender itself. In my opinion, Blender is a great, free 3d modeling/rendering/compositing software. If you'd like to learn more about it, I'd be happy to tell/help you. The best of luck, Andy.

Tnx, is blender also good for special effects in films and making animation films, like 'Ice Age' for example?
