    hey you guys from California... if you charge like 40- 60$ or even almost 100$. I have a question how much you get monthly. Also I just graduate HS. and now i'm in summer. Do you know where I can find small desings jobs in webdesing, stationary design. etc? thank you!

    How to Charge?

    Why is this subject the most difficult for designers? It is so relative and there are so many factors that affects the price like, portfolio, if you have a lot of work or not, if your client have a lot o money or not. I never could rate hourly, what I do is think in my price per our, then I think how many ours it will take the job based in my experience and then I set a price for the job. Some times it works, some times don’t.

    The question is what works better for you, I usually charge 50% in advanced and the 50% after I finished the work so I don’t work in vain. What do you usually do?
