    Question How do you work???

I wonder how do you all work behind your Pc?

With a mouse, tablet or tabletscreen? And do you work behind a PC , tablet pc or laptop?

I got mousepad and tablet, and I use them on my laptop. And soon going to buy a tablet PC, so that I can get a feeling when drawing and make things.

I just got my new tablet pc uber cool thingy. Drawing with its is so good. But need to upgrade stuff and install things. Ipression drawing with paint is super. Can draw much better now. Better than guessing how i should move the mouse or pen to draw things.

I use Trust A4 tablet for painting. Yeah, I know I should get a Wacom. Intuos has much better pressure sensetivity. But well, at least it is something. I actually enjoy it And taking into account that Intuos of the same size would be about 4 times more expensive, I am not ready for the change.

But working with vector graphics, I prefer to use a mouse. I have trouble getting a grip on the vector joints (or what do you call those corners in English?).

And speaking about talet PC, I was always wondering how is it to work on it? How good is the pressure sensetivity and presision of the stylus? Do you have any examples of your paintings already to share with us?

My tablet is currently broken. Cord issues. Very sad story. :/

Right now I've got my trackball mouse until I have the funds to replace my Wacom.

It sounds strange, a designer having a trackball mouse, but they're AMAZINGLY efficient and easy to use.

I work many different ways. Tablet pc, desktop pc, and my laptop...I use my tablet pc or my pocket pc to sketch out ideas most of the time and I get behind a desk to work in illustrator or photoshop on my desktop

I use mostly PC sense it's what I am use to, but I will somtimes use a Mac when I'm at school. I also use a tablet to draw many of the designs that I do for my different projects. I'm still learning, so whats better than a compatition against good people.

    Smile

Preferably in a nice cushioned chair laid back with a Wacom and a large display. Basically if I were drawing or painting I would like to be in a very comfortable envirorment.
How I actually work is in a office chair at a desk with a mouse. Argh. But thats work for you.

    Many Thanks
    David

I've got an HP Pavillion dv5200 laptop, Logitech G1 mouse and Wacom Intuos 3 6x11 tablet; used together, they're very good for graphic design.

Good old mouse user here I have a Wacom tablet, but I can't ever seem to get the hang of it. I used to do quite a bit of actual drawing (not digitally) and am too used to looking at my hands while drawing. When I try to look at the screen while using the tablet, it just seems unnatural.

I have my laptop hooked up to the love of my life, a 22" Samsung monitor (sometimes I use the laptop monitor as a second screen. I have 5.1 surround sound, an external wireless keyboard/mouse and an A4 graphics tablet. I love my set up. Its taken a lot of time and money to get it all but its soooooooo worth it
