Is Flash good for logo design?

I read in another thread that Flash can be used for making logos.
how do you do that and how you should save the file?

Just like any other vector graphics editor it can be used for logo design. The result can be exported to .eps or .jpeg and opened in other applications like Photoshop for finishing touches.

Yup but I hope that Adobe would implement it in cs4 though. Cause really like it that you can easily change the size and more it around like the gradient is a shape. Instead of the gradient tool we now got in Illustrator where you can only drag to get the gradient.

Flash is'nt meant for logo design ,rather for vector animation. So you can but you simply won't have as many tools at your finger tips.

Flash tools are far the best if you have worked with it. Both got allot of comparable tools. But for me flash is more user friendly compared to illustrator. Both are used to draw illustration and both got the tools to do it, so there is not much missing. Only the pms colors can't be choosen. But as resurepus say you can export it and finish in a other program.

And cs3 illustrator got few tools from flash added like the eraser tool.

As you say its a vector animation program, but any program that can make vectors can be use to make a logo. Even a CAD program that uses vector lines can be used to draw the logo and later exported to ad colors in a other program. But primarily need a export that could make a file that contains the vector and can be opened in Illustrator or other adobe programs.

Yup flash is good for logo design, especially when using Wacom.
You can make very dynamic shape easier in Flash.
