    Animated logo's

Been seeing some animated logo's lately. One famous one is the Red dot logo.

Also see some design companies offering animated online logo's

Mainly the logo are swf files keeping the great colors and gradient styling. Most are intro to stop animations.

However I think most are pretty dull by cheesy animations though.

But some does catch more attention with good animations. But for sure there more work than normal logo's.

I don't care for them, but a lot of my clients want the Flash logos.

In my opinion, logos might have an animated version for multimedia design pieces, but the original one must stay 2d. As we all know ... and designed animating logo may work for web, marquee maybe but for what else ...??
Its always better to have a very good 2d logo and then create an animated version of it, not viceversa. That's my opinion ...
