I am not sure about some that clever cookie thinks are bad though.

New Paypal is much better design wise its better cause outline text are bad.

Jiffy lube is also good cause the text aint overlapping now makig it more readable.

Pantone is also good I like the new one more than the old.

wow, i totally disagree with you. on all 3 of those; well, atleast the first 2, I really do not like either of pantone's logos, the old nor the new.

the old logos of those first 2, paypal and jiffy, were distinguishable from the masses of other logos out there. when you saw them, you recognized and thought of their brand. now they "modernized" their logos so they will just get lost in the sea of similar ones done.

Some of those are bad, but I agree with chung dha, clever cookie is wrong(GASP!), some are better...I love the new pantone window logo, and the new jiffy logo, and especially the payless logo, I noticed before, the old logo looks outdated, the new one fresh, modern....honestly, I'm on paypal daily, never noticed any differents(due to the strong type)

now, that NASA logo is UGLY.......

Yeah, some of those redesigns are pretty horrific. I have to agree with the others though, not all of them are for the worse. Some of them did lose their "feel" though, but sometimes you have to do that. I still can't get over how horrible the wacom logo is though. Yuck.

I'll agree that some of them are memorable, but dang, that 2012 games logo some a freshman would design and probably get a C at best.
