    Question CorelDRAW X3 Tutorials..please :-)

    Hi,
I recently discovered the FUN of graphic design! I got the program 'CorelDRAW X3', it's very cool. But yeah, I'm as dumb as I sound...!

I've looked at you guys' designs and they are all TERRIFIC, OMG I can't believe it!

My favourites are those with the glassy looks and the cool pictures,
NOW here is the REAL QUESTION: Is there a way to do those sort of things with CorelDRAW X3?

If you have any tips, tutorials or whatever regarding that, PLEASE let me know.

    Thanks alot you guys.

Try not to use the linear gradient if anyone wants AIs or EPS - Illustrator will convert the linear gradient to a bitmap. However, if it's just PSDs they want or other raster, the Corel linear gradient is extremely fast for making shiny text.

Best way to do it is:
    1) reduce your text to curves
    2) copy and paste over top the existing text
    3) draw an ellipse or rectangle over top and then select one of the texts and the new shape
    4) Use the simplify icon to 'stamp' out the ellipse
    5) delete the ellipse and fill the new stamped text. Voila.
    Back hungry - feed back.
