Medal Points

Hi DC Members

As all of us know how important is medal point to reach the Next level..

I have been through some contest where we are in 2nd or 3rd postion and we don't receive any medal.

The contest holder just give away the gold and leave..

which means we lost a medal point....

Don't you think that this is little unfair

I agree that it should be required not only for a CH to choose a Gold Medal design, but also a Silver and Bronze medal. It should be common courtesy to at least give the designers the rating points they need if they aren't chosen for the Gold.

Silver and bronze is auto picked based on the ch ratings. If the ch only rates the winner, then no other medals are awarded.

i want to ask if a designer reach his upload limits and design is near to win and ch asking for design modification then what should a designer do.

@DexMind176 - I always wonder about that too. The CH doesn't actually pick 2nd place and 3rd place. The CH only awards 1st place and the system autopicks for the silver and bronze medals based on the next highest ratings. I think the ubxCloud contest you reference is tricky since yjoleane won and also had a 90 rating tied with 3 other designs also rated at 90. The same designer can't win a gold and a silver and a bronze too.
