grafikus: We have some concerns about how your design will look scaled up to truck size. Can you show us a larger view of the basket graphic? Also, we don't like the long horizontal black line in the b&w version.

rinaldidesigns: Your third entry is our new favorite. Nothing more to say for now.

jojomarie: Very interesting designs-- very WPA. We like the first better than the second. The font doesn't feel right. Can you try another font, and maybe put something on the horizon in the background?

geek: I like your entry a lot. Unfortunately I couldn't get the others to agree with me (I tried). And they weren't very specific about what they didn't like. Sorry, but it looks like that design isn't for us.

NancyCarter: The lettering in this one didn't appeal to us. Also it kinda looks like it's next to an ocean.

cincytodd: The style and colors are great, but we don't really want a farmer figure in the design. The font for "Johnson's" isn't right for us either.

The farm owner has a special request. He wants to know if this image can be turned into a logo. Not the actual photograph, but a conception of it (using the same suggestions and guidelines we've been talking about). I know I said earlier that giant red tomatoes were out, but this is an image he really likes-- a b&w version of it has been on our signup form for a while now. He made it very clear to me that the folds and wrinkles of the tomato are important details to him (to distinguish from typical supermarket tomatoes), so keep that in mind.

here's my first. i used a "rough" wpa style. thanks. kept the hands in green colors to both keep down the # of colors used, and to convey that your farmers are 'one with the earth' so to speak.
