Comments: Hello Contestant! Welcome to the Clipspringer.com Logo contest. We're anxious to find a new, fitting, great logo for our growing site. Our traffic is increasing daily and we're looking to invest in our readership.

We do have a fascination with Pigeons ( see About | Bachelor Pad Design) And we would love to incorporate a pigeon into our new design. But note: a Pigeon is not a requirement, only something we're throwing out there. We are open to all the creativity that DesignContest.net has to offer. From what we've seen the past competition logos have been fantastic and we're excited to see what you can come up with for us.

Our favorite logo we've seen to date is here: LogoPond - Identity Inspiration - . We even went so far as to try to acquire the rights for that logo from the Empire Beer Group, contacting Australian designers and copyright holders - but after discussions with some very friendly Aussies, alas - not for sale. As discussed above, this logo would have merited discontinuing our pigeon logo.

We do not require that our logo say the name 'Clipspringer' as that seems to be covered by the cursive writing on our page header. However, if you would like to restructure the entire blog heading that is acceptable. Good luck and we look forward to seeing the entries!

Rinaldidesigns: Fantastic work and in such short time! Very impressive. We like the colors and we always love pigeons. Also like the 'clip' in one color then the 'springer' in another. We'd be interested to see different font variations as well on this one as well as different graphics for the pigeon. We know there is some rule about only submitting 3 designs (or something like that?) so don't be afraid to throw anything new at us.

We are thrilled with everyone's work. Truly fantastic!

Rinaldidesigns: We like the addition of the eye to the pigeon, as well as the wing. We'd like to see more variations of the font and perhaps move the pigeon over to the left and have it face to the right. Other ideas are welcome as well. Thank you for being so responsive to our first post.

JoJoMarie: We've been following your work on Designcontest.net and were anxious to see what you came up with! And you did not disappoint! We like the pigeon and artistic nature of the font. We'd like to see more burnt orange color and perhaps a more masculine font though. More ideas are welcome also - as we're trying to see all brainstormed ideas.

NancyCarter: RE: 1st Design: Really like the pigeon's on the chair and the color. Would it be possible to incorporate a 3rd color (anything of your choice - not necessarily burnt orange as we want your suggestions for mix with the brown) and also to change the font?
RE 2nd Design: Very, very impressive. We love the classic nature of the graphic - love it. As a variation we'd love to see it with a few other graphics like that - but with just the pigeon, or anything else you think may be appropriate. The colors are also great.

This is made out of a pigeon I had photographed just before it landed very hard to get shot. However in the photo it is gray pigeon though. Now placed that it is aproaching clipspringer bringing new news and topics.

Hello - sorry for our delayed response, we've been mulling over all the entries. They are great.

NancyCarter: Thanks for the variations, we like your original coloring the best - but appreciate you showing us what our suggestions would like. You've got an eye for color. Please see general comments below

JoJoMarie: Thank you for the edits as well, we appreciate your new design. We would probably leave out the box around the writing and graphic, but we like the thinking. Please see the general comments below as well.

ChungDa: This is fantastic work. Thank you for the entry. We love the pigeon graphic - and the fact that you took the photo and turned it into this, is really extraordinary. We'd love to see it with some burnt orange somewhere in the logo, and perhaps use of Bickham Script Pro or a font similar (that, we believe, is what we used in the Heading on the site.)

General Comments: Now that you have tweaked according to what we wanted to see, we'd like to see your logos for the site as if you had no guidance. What would you do simply based on the content of Clipspringer.com site? If you owned the site and were putting together the header what do you see? You can throw inhibition to the wind here and explore creatively. We've seen your works in past logos and know you all have incredible talent, so go nuts as we say.
