Designer_Brief: My wife and I have invested in alpacas and are in need of a 'knock your socks off' logo. Alpacas sell for anywhere from $10,000 all the way to $500,000 a piece so we are looking for a logo that eludes prestige and affluncey. We will be using the logo to differentiate our farm from all the many others so it needs to stand out, be memoriable and create a lasting impression.

This logo will be used for business cards, stationary, farm signs, and in various print advertising. What we have in mind is a stack-stone, wrought-ironed gated entry with alpacas standing in the background or something to that effect. We are open to anything else creative that you might suggest. The logo will need to include the name: Southern Estate Alpacas.

Hello, here's my idea.

Maxson...Thanks for your submission! We are looking for something a little more elaborate and sophisticated. We don't want a "clip-art" looking logo. We want the viewer to have an image of a large estate or plantation where alpacas are raised by seeing our logo. We do like the "patterned" alpaca you used (I assume you saw Bentley's picture on our website). Also we want a more sophisticated font used for the name. Now that might give you something more to build on.

We like these designs! We think this would really look great as a door magnet or on business cards. Not so sure about the sun and alpaca silhouette. Can you possibly keep the design the same and add a stacked stone gated entry where that is?? We know space is limited but we do like the pinstripes, the way you did the name and the overall style. Great work!

We don't know where you get the things to make the designs and that is why we are using you guys to develop our logo. We know you are trying to accommodate our requests but we want a font similar to "old English" that is somewhat fancy just less plain than your original design. This design has a zoo type look with that many alpacas maybe have a mother and baby standing inside the gate would be sufficient. Thanks!

Biaskee, What we were really wanting is to have the the stacked stone entrance at the top of the logo where the moon and alpacas are currently. Can you somehow do a gated entry w/ alpacas standing inside at the top where that is...is there enough room??? Thanks!

I think we want to go ahead with your last design but without the stripes (they seem to interfere with the gates too much). Also make the name a little darker tan. We were hoping there would be more choices to choose between but you do have a great design! Thanks! Jerry

It's still in not popping out like I am looking for...Maybe do the outline around the logo in black...the letters and gate in silver and outline the letters with a fine black edge. Also do an example with a light to medium burgandy background. Also how do I PM you?? Thanks! Jerry
