You can edit background if you have software for that.
Unfortunately, fonts have they own license. Usualy, fonts are converted to curves. I can not include font in my final package, but if you have this font on your computer final logo can be editable.
Please, tell me what software you have? Photoshop, I guess?
Then, greatYou can use Photoshop to edit background, because this is one of layers.

nhr, I feel bad since the contest was suppose to be finished. We like the original "b" font in 1.23b and 1.24b. I'm a little concerned that the browns and tans are too safe...could you put a grass green or chartruse in the design element somehow. Maybe in the middle line or one of the curved lines...Just looking for a little pop and to give at least a hint at the eco-friendly building...this is something we plan to learn much more about over the next year or two....Thanks again
