OK...to give everyone some thoughts...We'd like a pretty simple logo incorporating Armfield in larger font then Properties. As for themes try to incorporate moulding or woodwork as a starter...Just trying to get some ideas started to get some responses. Thanks and we look forward to seeing your ideas.

I think the name "Armfield" needs to be the most prominent element of the logo. Since it will typically be on a sign by a job site I want to be sure the name is easily recognizable. Both of the first two submissions did a good job of this. I've seen some where the name just doesn't stick out. Thanks.

Thank you very much for the feedback.
Color choice is connected with moulding/woodwork association

    Here are more color options:

thanks nhr. I see your point with the colors and like the original approach more than subsequent submission with colors I indicated. The colors in choice (b) look nice too though...I feel the black may be too harsh in choice (a)...hmmm....

Agree. This is the reason why we have choice (b)

My business will focus more on older Richmond, VA homes that need remodeling. Richmond has a lot of historic homes that need updating so it would be great to emphasize this somehow with logo and other marketing....your thoughts?

I would say the majority of our clients in Richmond are conservative and preppy while thinking of themselves as somewhat edgy. The homes are mostly old English brick...a lot of colonials and "shotgun" homes...think Charleston, SC.... I like the idea of having an older home with the charm and character while still enjoying the modern amenities and open design of today's homes....Hope this helps and wish I had included initially

Well, if you have that fill, let's stay away from depressing brown
