www.asktheflipvips.com is an educational website which will offer a series of weekly teleseminars that are education based, designed for real estate investors. The "Flip VIP's" are a group of 12 investors that are considered to be top investors from all over the United States, and are considered some of the most down to earth experts in the field of real estate investing, yet still have a great time in the process. (The feel will be professional yet FUN!) The website will be used to attract new customers to register for a monthly subscription where they can listen in on weekly calls/teleseminars/interviews with each of the "Flip VIP's." There are 12 Flip Vip's total, and each "Flip VIP" will be on a rotation to host one call per week, which means that each Flip VIP will be hosting one call personally every 12 weeks. This will provide the listener with a very inexpensive way to get high quality, high calibur real estate investing education, not only from a wide variety of professionals and real estate fields, but also at a very competitive price since monthly subscriptions start at only $29 per month.

The link is not working yet because the website is in process of being built. Getting this logo is going to be a part of finalizing the website with colors, etc...

This is very interesting... The last time I used this site (which was about 3 years ago) I would have already had 8 or 9 designs submitted already from designers. Are there not as many designers on this site any more? Or was description of the company bad enough to where no one wants to submit a logo? Either that, or was my price not high enough? I'm a little confused at such little response...

Hello,
I'd love to take a stab at your logo but your direction is a bit vague visually. We only get 3 chances at your logo so I'm a bit gun shy of spending time on your logo without having a better idea of your tastes and needs. I think it would help us all as designers if you could answer a few questions.

Do you have any pre-conceived graphic ideas? Are there any elements you would like to include or would like to see in the logo?

Do you have any sample logos(not necessarily in your field) that you really like the style of that we can use as a jumping off point graphically?

Are you partial to any particular colors or schemes?

These would all be helpful to me and my fellow artists to help spark our imaginations and get you something you'll really love.

Let us know. After giving this you may want extend the contest a few days to give the artists a bit of time to incubate a few ideas.

Ask the Flip VIP's is a group of people that "flip" houses for profit. In other words, we find residential real estate that looks like a good deal, then we turn around and sell it either immediately or after a renovation is completed. We do this for profit, and the purpose of this company is going to be for this group of 12 investors to show other people how to do what we do (flip houses.)

We currently have two other websites that show people how to do something similar, but they're very targetted for a very specific type of real estate. You can see what I mean at Short Sale Preforeclosure Investing | ShortSaleWealth.com and Real Estate Investing at Flipping Homes: Make Money Flipping Real Estate, Flipping Houses and Real Estate Investing.

As for colors, we're really not picky. I'd like the logo to look professional, yet still be fun. Nothing too dry and corporate. I'd like for the logo to show that this group of investors is fun AND knows what they're doing in house flipping world.

I'm going to extend the date to the end of this week, but I have GOT to get something by then, so please feel free to make submissions. You might be surprised to hear that I'm not as picky as many of the other people that may submit logo's on this site. We just need something clean and fun that represents what we do at a quick glance.

Hello,

I tried to come up with an attractive logo that would make your users feel "pushed" to join your site. I also emphasized the "VIP's" so that they think you are the PROs they should follow. Also a small house refers to what you do.

As I was doing these color studies it was apparent to me that although the extra line on the roof and the drop shadow of the arrow balanced the color out, they were a little distracting to my eye. Here are the color studies again without them. I think it has a bit cleaner look without. What do you think? Your call.
