Perfect Cents - $230 - August 10th

[Perfect Cents]

For all designers.

I'm still split between two styles for this design:
- crisp, with clean lines & modern/abstract graphic
or
- mascot style. I'm cautious with this one as I don't want people to think I don't take my business seriously, but I also think a clever mascot gets noticed.

Very Clever!! I like idea... though I'm not sure if the "C" would be noticed if I didn't already know it was supposed to be there?

1. Working with this idea I would like the hand to be more abstract, and the font more crisp.

2. If I were to pick from your 3 entries, the 2nd would be my choice. I like the dollar & cents symbols combined and would be happy to see you build on that idea, with different fonts & effects, different placement of text etc.

I will rework my 2nd entry tomorrow but decided to redraw the hand from a side view so that I don't have all of the extra fingers which didn't serve any purpose. I selected a more elegant font. Your thoughts on this revision?

Can we try a different take on the PC combo (or even just a dollar symbol), making the coin a little more coin like.
With the business name, can we try a different font (something a little less formal but still clear & smoothe) with lower case P & C and run the words together?

Thanks for your entry. Can we make a few adjustments?

1. The graphic reminds me a bit of a tennis ball.. Can we try having a tick/checkmark in white, or a dollar sign, with horizontal lines behind to make the circle? Use the navy & grey from your second design, and make the green more of a lime.

2. Can we try a versions with "Financial Coach" as the tag line, and one with ".com.au" as the tag line.

3. Can we use a less "serif" looking font (is that the right word?!)

I haven't decided yet if I prefer the dollar sign or not... it makes what I do a bit more obvious, but I like the new graphic a lot.

Can we lime the green just a tiny bit?

But I'm not sure: Do You want to see this picture with a little bit more pig, or you want to see anoter pictures of that characters ( with different subject)? Another words - Do you want to see this pig a bit more looking out from coin?

Nice work! I'm loving how you've pumped up the symbol, especially the shiny C in the middle. Well done!

1. Can we lime up the green a little more.
2. Cut the ".com.au" (I'd use that OR the slogan, not both)
3. Keep "financial coach" the same length as "perfect"
4. Try some different colour combo's - ie. both Perfect & cents in the gold etc.
5. Are there any other options for placement of text with the symbol that would work?

I would like to let you know that the mascot is a minor detail compared to he main logo (the abstract graphic). If needed, it can be changed as often as desired

Think I'm happier with the pre-revision colours, I've taken you too lime

I still haven't decided if I prefer the Symbol you designed or the dollar sign on the coin - think I'm going to have to get some input from colleagues to help me make up my mind!
