    Hi Beat,

As promised, here's my idea. Self explanatory.
The logo/icon works well on all orientations, i.e. left side, right side (as shown), above, etc. Just let me know if you want to see the concept with those variations

    Feedback is appreciated.

    regards

    Deer geek!

Txs for your concept. But honestly it does not work for me. I don't understand the idea of the visual element - clearly it does not show a connection to our territory (unless we have colors), so what else does it mean? Sorry, back to square one for you.

As you might have noticed the contest has been extended, so have another try.

    Best regars,
    svme

I have explored the suggestions you requested. Please let me know what you think.
    Hi Smack
Thanks a lot for your second input.
    Let me comment on it:
    • text looks much better this way
    • integration of the old abbreviations: try another way.
Smaller font, same color as first part of name or white in the grayscale.
Both abbreviations within one box, not touching the box's border
    • please rethink the subbrand logo:
intergration inside of a box? Any idea of subbrand poicy using different colors for different brands?
    • Could you also try it with the name "procure.ch"?
    • please not the typing error within "swiss supply

Hope to hear from you soon.

The font is from the same typographic family smack used, but this one is bolder, so it get a better readability in smaller sizes.

As you can see, I used the Swiss Cross as an organizing element on the logo, organization by which the swisses are famous. Standing alone, however, it is a very eclectic icon, which can be interpreted as an arrow going forwards, or simply as an agile cross rushing forwards.

As below, a new subbrand name could simply take the place of the SVME and ASAA abbreviations as the tagline.

    Dear Gerhard

Thanks, above all I like the ideas behind the concept.
I'm not sure if the cross can be related to Switzerland, but still...

Please show me some more versions, as
    - subbrand / old abbreviations in lower case
    - one of the other names in the short list
    - new idea of name "procure.ch"
    - subbrand policy with possibility to use different colors for different subbrands (try subbrands: "training" - "jobs" - "magazine")

Again: you are right on track!

    Hi Paulo

First impression: I like it. Second look: to many colors - but I'm not sure about that...
    Please try:
    - omit the green part of logo - just use the quarter circle with the cross (wondering how this will look!)
    - show me some versions as discussed with daphne, Gerhard and smack in the other threads!

    Thanks and bye

    Hi svme

Thanks for the feedback, and sorry for the typo. Here is the design suited for adapting to the sub-brands and maintaining the integrity of the parent logo. Looking forward to your feedback.

    Thanks

Here is my revision! It features a new style cross, "procure.ch" as the main name (I still prefer "achat suisse", as it is quite more unique, but you are the boss ), and colored lower case subbrands.

    Here is my 2nd concept.

The new icon represents the Swiss Cross formed by four converging arrows, and can be also interpreted as an aiming reticule (as your firm goes right to the point, right? ).

Do you have any specific colors your want me to work with the subbrands?

    Any feedback will be appreciated!

    Hi svme,

    Thanks for the feedback.

    Here are the revisions requested.
I took advantage of the lower quarter-circle (different colors) to develop the subbrands.

    Hi svme,

I know I am getting in a little late on this contest but I thought this concept through and am excited to present it. The visual symbol in my concept acts as a metaphor for the definition of procurement. It is part Swiss flag and part person who is in the act of procurement of items and then passing them on, which is what people in an association do - taking and giving knowledge, time, resources, etc... The word "Procure" is in red as is the sub-branded names - so it reads "procure jobs" - "procure training" etc...

I look forward to your feedback.

    To all

Thanks to everybody entering the contest so far - I really appreciate! Due to a business trip my online time is reduced to minimum - so there is no adequate feedback for the moment. I try to catch up asap.
For this reason I will ask the administrator to extend the contest one more week. So please come back and review my comments end of the week/beginning next week.

    Thanks!

    svme
