went with a simple, straightforward design, using the state of delaware as the I.

Hi Paul, I like the concept of the roof over the RE(real estate), and it prompted a thought. I'd like to see what the state shape would look like inside of the D so the DEL part has the delaware shape, the RE has the roof, and try the I with a $ in it. The letters will probably have to be be chunkier to make that work. But, I have to tell you, I am using Design Contest becasue I am not good at this . Mike

revisions with and without the $. good idea with putting the state in the D. I'm not so sure about the $ sign, as I feel it makes the logo too busy, plus it may remind people of those cheesy cash advance stores. but let me know your thoughts. thanks for the quick feedback.

Paul- I am with you on the cheesy cash advance look. I was hoping to see the characters chunky enough that that the dollar sign actually fit inside of the "I". Revising that gives me two variations of your submission that are good considerations.

CincyTodd- You must have done some Delaware homework! Blue and gold...nice! I love the look. First glance gave me a little too much of a city feeling with the taller building. Other than that, I'm diggin' it like a landscaper!

I tried a diffrent approach using the Delaware map
The model of the key and the colors can be changed easily.

Robert777- Thanks for submitting. It is nice, almost a little pretty. I don't sense professional association for some reason. I do like the key hanging off of the top of the state though.

Robert- The best suggestion I have is to please try again. I'm sure you can come up with something good that is more professional association.

Paulo- I The colors are good and I like the left frame with the stae shape. My initial reaction was the font may be too small for the size of the state shape though. I'm not a pro at this, so I am just giving you my reaction. I completely lack whatever that thing is that allows people to see tings that aren't there. I was able to identify the roof design on the "A", but someone was looking over my shoulder and asked what it was. When I explained she said that she still couldn't see it. Overall I do like it. Some revisions will help. Thankis for the submission.

    Hi Mikey,

    Thanks for the prompt feedback.

I revised the concept according to your instructions (text size and appearance/suggestion). Two ideas for you to consider. Top, the "A" midde stripe was reconstructed and in teh bottom I add a styled window to have more a of a house appearence.

Paulo- I like it. The house is more obvious and, to me, the font size and state seem more in balance. 11 more days of contest. We'll see what the other designers bring. We have some good choices so far.

    Mikey,

    Thanks for the prompt reply.
I also think that we have now a better, unique and balanced logo concept.

    Again, thanks for your time!

Robert- Nice job stepping it up. Now you are right in there with a good professional look. My critical feedback this time is that the house is not easily identifiable. After I looked at it for a few seconds I could see that it is half of a house, but at first glance it looked like a ship.
