I think if you want a sample of what the image will look like on a business card you'll need to request it and all the designs will be allowed to do so.

NOW I'm not 100% sure on this so.... I'll bring it to the attention of the other admin/mods and see what they say.

OK I have 1 confermation and I was correct w/ my first reponse.
No Business card design and no extra eliments. Which in this case is a preview on a business card. (or shirt or letter head or web header ect.)

Thanks for at least following up. I would prefer that the chit chat stay until I'm done, so that I don't ask the same questions over and over. I don't agree with the fact that I ask all this before starting and the designer is fine with it but now you want me to post a whole new contest for something I was under the impression could be included.

What did your message mean when you said, 'I'm sure the designer that wins will work with you?' Once I close this contest, can I work with him directly regarding my business card?

Sorry that your feeling a bit frustrated at this moment. It's not our intentions to make things more difficult for the CH or the designers. This site as with many other design contest sites have different areas and keep with in that area. It just lessens the confusion on what's being designed. Hope you understand.

What I ment by "I'm sure the designer that wins will work with you" -
I can't speek for any other designer on here but for myself I wouldn't mind helping out a start up company with a free business card set up after I won their logo design contest. Designing a busniness card isn't really that time consuming since I'd allready had the logo for it. It just a matter of adding text and possibly a couple elements and lining everything up to please the client. Plus this could also lead into other services the CH may need in the future.

But Yes once this contest is closed you will get to work with the Winner of the contest directly.

What happens after the time for the contest has expired and you choose a winner Nevadabadgirl will turn on your PM's to allow you to communicate directly with the winner of the contest. You'll get his/her email through your communications with him/her on this to recieve all files. It's at this point that I'd inquire about additional services he/she may or may not ask for additional compensation as that is up to the sole discretion of the designer.

I understood that you budget is fixed, so, as I let you know from the first time, I'll make you business card without additional costs. But I think it's fair to leave the contest until the deadline.

Please also be aware that your printer can add your logo to the business cards and that is actually part of the fee they charge for printing them.

Here is my first entry. The LM graphic/symbol and company name can be used either stacked or horizontal depending on what the situation calls for. It would also lend itself to a nice watermark as well. I look forward to your feedback.
