Create a running event website that will provide information to participants. The event will take place on the 4th of July, to celebrate the independence of the United States of America, honor those who gave us this independence and promote a healthy lifestyle. The event name will be the "Firecracker 6".

I really went for the whole "freedom" feel - lots of spacing, calm colors, with some liberty flair thrown in the mix.

What I like? The freedom feel that you went with and the open spacing for an easy to navigate feel.

What I don't like? The image of the runners with grass. I do not want to get a false impression that the event will be on the grass it will be on the streets.

Changes I would like to see: Perhaps remove the grass from the image or use a different image all together. I would also like to see a subscribe and share this area (Facebook, Twitter, RSS logos, etc.) and a place to submit email address box.

Thank you for your submission.

What I like? The open space at the top, color choices used and the countdown clock.

What I don't like? The runner at the top is too big and takes away from the brand/event name "firecracker 6". The body section has a lot going on with both updates and news being similar.

Changes I would like to see: I would like to see the runner at the made significantly smaller, so that the focus is not on him. I would also like to the the navigation/body section simplified. Maybe increase the size of the logos for the Facebook, Twitter, RSS. My plan is to only use a few social media sites. Simplifying will make the site more user friendly for all users.
