I can't really tell that it's a wizard anymore. It looks kind of like a snowy mountain....

I like it, but it's not too game oriented....

BlackDiamond:
Can you post feedback to my 2nd suggestion (post #20)?
There might still be time for a third suggestion from me.
I completely missed it. I like it a lot!
The armor I'm considering for the store is in the same pose.
It's definitely a more serious look, but I'll have to think about it.

It has to appeal to me (36 year old male), as well as the majority of customers -- the Yu-gi-oh trading card crowd (ages 9-17) and the customers who spend the most money (25 year old fantasy game players). Don't forget the mothers who allow their children to visit this store.
My favorites right now are:
1) Shane Link's new wizard design with the diamond staff or wand.
2) Logodoers profile wizard holding a wand with mixed title fonts.
3) Logodoers crooked smile wizard
It's been pointed out to me that many designs have too much detail and that they would lose a lot of their flavor when reduced to a smaller size. Comments on that?
Eventually this will need to be incorporated into a sign, letterhead, business cards, envelopes, shopping bags, t-shirts, etc.
I like the standing wizard, but it reminds me of the old TSR logo (original D&D publisher).

The link appears not to work. Can you take a look?

That's good. Could you do one that has the word "games" in it?

I would like to see more general game designs, possibly focusing on board and card games. About 30% of customers will have no interest in fantasy, or will be "walk-by" customers in a community shopping center. They would probably perfer something more game-neutral, with less fantasy. They're likely to walk in and buy a board game or chess set. I think knights are probably a good "bridge" icon for these folks, as opposed to wizards. This isn't to invalidate previous designs, it's just to add some more ideas.
Karlos does a good job of this with his latest design. Blazen also does a fine job with his knight on horseback, although I would like to see something diamond related in it. Imazes BGD knight logo is excellent, although I'm concerned that it's too vertical.
Awesome job folks!
Other ideas:
A treasure chest, open, filled with game materials. A big black diamond is etched within the design of the chest.
A diamond design within the handle of a fancy key. The key being something that unlocks the imagination.
