Hi blackDiamond!
I'm creating a knight in the dimond, but still do not like the knight
Noticed that deadline is "Deadline: 9/15/2004"
is it a mistake?
thanks

I wasn't expecting such an outpouring of excellent content so quickly. If I could change it to something sooner, I would, like 8/15.

Well done! Kinda reminds me of this guy though:

Here's my third and final entry - feedback will
again be greatly appreciated:

Colors (+gradients), drop shadows, etc can be
added later - here's a very fast example (though
I like to keep it very simple anyway):

Oh, and you asked about using a logo in small
sizes - the small-sized logos you see on the screen
are much more blurry than on print media (since
print media can be many times more accurate, i.e.
they can have more resolution) but you can of course
get some idea of how well the details will show in
small sizes. There are also certain small sizes where
the logo looks best on screen (and most likely everyone
here will give you a logo of a certain size for on-screen/web use
after they have won).
Also, if the logo is made in vectors, it can be reduced
or increased in size very nicely (meaning the same file
can be used for a business card and a poster) - most
likely everyone here will give you the logo in some vector
format too after they've won.
Oh and also, some logos are designed to "degrade gracefully",
meaning that some details will intentionally disappear when
the logo is used in smaller sizes.

BlackDiamond could you give me any feedback on my logo, if you like it but it is not enough in the direction you want I could add something to it. If not then I can go another route.
Mmm, not really what I was looking for. Right now I'm thinking more towards the fantasy motifs - knights and wizards of various sorts.

I am unable to make another entry (due to the rules limiting
entries to three), I can modify this design afterwards if you
choose this design.
Thanks for the contest, and good luck all!
It's an interesting spin, but not what I'm looking for. I don't like that rule.....

I like the diamond with the friendly wizard, although the fingers are still scary.
