Company_Details: Real Estate Mortgage company providing home loans to purchase or refinance. We have been using the name 'A Better Team By Farr' for years regardless which bank we are working for. People tend to remember it more than my actually name. My kids are getting into drag racing now and I want to incorporate the racing with the home loans for advertising purposes.

Comments: Professional mortgage business using my Name Jeff FARR into a catchy company name; A Better Team By Farr. it takes a team of professionals to get things done and with great service. The first of our 4 children is turning 8 years old and he is now able to race in the Junior Drag racing league. Once again the team concept works well. Incorporating the professional mortgage industry with the excitement of drag racing can create renewed interest in our company's identity. We have actually heard ourselves telling clients that 'We're racing to get your home loan done...'

I tried to incorporate the drag racing via the yellow, green, red colors of the first letter in each word, as it resembles the order of lights for drag racing. this may be 'too strong' of a reference, but I was unsure how much integration of the drag racing you want within the logo...thanks! I also toyed with differentiating/separating the "A Better Team" and "By Farr", but left it together for fear of the "By Farr" looking more like an author's signature on a book.

I like the idea of the colors which reflects the drag racing into the name. I have been hoping for some type of lines or sketch around the name that shows the home loans and the racing.
How about A Better Team on the top line; By FARR on the bottom line all with a simple sketch of a roof top and a dragster underneath? You are the experts, maybe I'm dreaming to much?

this may be more of what you had in mind. the 'By Farr" seemed to work better in the design with it on top. thanks for the feedback.

Wow, we really like the sketching concepts; but, the By Farr can't be on top because ti changes the name of the company.
With this type of logo concept; the tag line would go right underneath it and explain everything; Racing to get your Home Loan done!

not a problem. I can easily move the By Farr to the right of the rest of the name and the wheel would just be to the right of it. and you'd still have the room below for the tagline. I will do a revision and show you it with the mentioned changes. should have it up later today. thanks!

We like the width of the 2 line concept above; just widing the logo to make it fit may not look as good

Hi Team Farr,

I used a heavy font similar to one of the fonts classically used by sports logos. Hope you like the drag racer - tried to make it not too over the top.
