My new logo, critique please. Thanks!

Hi,

I created this logo for my new website and I am actually already using it now, but I would still like to some critiques on this. Thanks!

The Idea:
I took time to sketch this out on paper to get the 'BLUE' right. This logo is an ambigram of my name, Blue. It's kind of simple but it somehow catches a person's eye and wants o analyze it a bit. I hope. haha

If it wasn't an ambigram I would say it was quite unreadable, but being what it is (an ambigram), it is quite nice! I would never be capable of creating such a thing, that's for sure!

It's realy good that you wrote "bluecuevas" below the ambigram, but I wouldn't write them altogether nor with different colors, but I see what you intended. The problem is that this way they are calling too much attention on their own, and by doing that, they "steal" attention from the ambigram.

Another thing I would change is the "designs" stuff. Why plural, for the start? And mainly, designs of *what*? There are so many branches in Design that to say just that you make design is the same of saying nothing...

You are on the right way, keep it up! And congrats for the ambigram, that must be a pain in the ass to create!

Honestly, I don't like your logo. There is nothing aesthetic about it. The design of the ambigram is heavy handed and not particularly elegant. Why is the ambigram like crossed out? Fonts are inconsistent. I would make the logo more simple. But that is only my opinion.

do you need the piece going across? I think it would work without it and improve legibility quite a bit. I also kinda think that the part underneath the ambigram seems a little disconnected.

I agree with Gerhard Schlee. I would not have known what it said if I wasn't looking for it. I do think it is a nice mark however.

Like the ambigram alot but I think its a bit on the big side for a logo. not to mention...if you just used the ambigram...do you think people will know that it is for your company "bluecuevas desings"

I also agree with jecrt about the bar across the middle, is there a significance?
